We are honoured to share the amazing tale of our participation in the historic event that took place on September 17, 2023. ‘Yashobhoomi,’ the first phase of the India International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC) in Dwarka, New Delhi, was transformed into a lush haven of greenery and natural beauty on this auspicious day thanks to Green Earth. We set out to breathe life and vitality into this architectural marvel as the sun rose over Yashobhoomi’s enormous 8.9 lakh square metre site. Our goal was not merely to beautify but also to bring it to life.
The Botanical Variety: Nature’s Palette at Yashobhoomi
We constructed a varied plant tapestry indoors. Beautiful orchids, noted for their exotic beauty and bright colours, were planted in strategic locations to catch the eye. Elegant lilies, with their immaculate petals, offered a sense of class. Ferns created a natural contrast with their intricate foliage, creating a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The tall, towering palms stood for endurance and strength and were expertly positioned.
The careful selection of plants, each chosen for its distinct attractiveness and toughness, marked the beginning of our voyage. The bright colours of marigolds at the entryway welcomed guests, signifying good fortune and creating an upbeat atmosphere for the occasion. The pillars were tastefully ornamented with jasmine vines, which gave the space an air of beauty and purity.
Green Earth’s Touch: Sustainable Elegance
One of our finest achievements was constructing a lush green wall, a living marvel in the grand ballroom. This lush tapestry made up of diverse plant species, not only provided a magnificent backdrop but also demonstrated our dedication to environmentally sustainable, long-lasting designs. In order to promote biodiversity and ensure a peaceful coexistence between the convention facility and the surrounding natural landscape, native trees and shrubs were meticulously planted outside.
A Monumental Achievement for Green Earth: Breathing Life into Yashobhoomi
Our work at Yashobhoomi went beyond simply placing plants; it also involved giving this enormous space vitality in every nook and cranny. In the midst of the busy event, the colourful vegetation offered a welcome contrast to the concrete and steel. We genuinely think that spending time in nature improves human experiences. Thus, at Yashobhoomi, we designed an aesthetically beautiful and emotionally enlivening setting.
Each plant at Yashobhoomi tells a tale of tenacity and expansion, enveloping visitors in a symphony of hues and aromas. Our dedicated team of landscape architects and horticulturists put their skills to use in every nook and cranny of Yashobhoomi, transforming it into a haven where people can escape the pressures of daily life and rediscover nature.
